Over the years, she has gained hands-on experience in a variety of roles, from office manager to project manager, and now proudly serves as a licensed contractor and Founding Co-Owner of Elysian Homes. Christina’s unique strength lies in her ability to truly put herself in her clients’ shoes, grasping their vision with clarity and passion to bring their dreams to life. James Losee, a Sarasota native, embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2008 by opening a home design company during a time of significant economic challenges. Despite the hurdles, his dedication and expertise quickly established him as a trusted name in the community. Over the years, James has designed hundreds of homes throughout Sarasota and Manatee County, blending creativity with precision to deliver exceptional residential projects. His strong foundational knowledge in structural integrity—ranging from steel frameworks to engineered lumber—has consistently set a high standard in the construction industry. In 2022, building on his extensive experience and passion for excellence, James co-founded Elysian Homes alongside Christina Bucknell, uniting their talents to redefine luxury home building and renovation in the region.
